Each month you will receive a bill from MeridianCare for your plan premium. MeridianCare offers several convenient ways for you to pay your plan premium, including paying online via EZ Pay, benefit check deductions, and by mail or phone. Choose what works best for you. MeridianCare has the right to disenroll you for failure to pay your plan premium on time. You can reference your Evidence of Coverage for more information about your plan premium, or review your plan benefits, which can be found on Summary of Benefits page. You can navigate to your plan specific member homepage to view these documents.
Please have your paper invoice available. You will have to enter your name and account number as it appears on the invoice. After the payment is processed you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep this email for your records.

Benefit Check Deductions
You may have your monthly premium amount withheld from your Social Security Administration or Railroad Retirement Board income check. To arrange this, please contact our Member Services department at 1-877-902-6784 (TTY 711), Monday – Sunday from 8 a.m. – 8p.m. Please note, this could take up to three months to process and you will be directly billed until this change takes effect.

Pay via Phone
You have the option to pay your bill over the phone through an Interactive Voice Response (IVR). Please have your invoice ready as you will be asked to enter the first 12 digits of your account number.
After you place your payment, you will be given a confirmation number. Please keep this for your records.
Understanding Your Billing Statement: Billing Terms
Previous Balance - The total amount owed as of the last billing date
Payments Received - The total payments received during the last billing cycle
Total Past Due - The total amount left over after subtracting Payments Received from Previous Balance
Premium Amount - The agreed upon monthly fee for healthcare coverage for a defined benefit period
LEP Amount - Late Enrollment Penalty (LEP) that is added to the monthly premium due to gap in creditable coverage
Subsidy Amount - Any aid that lowers the monthly premium of out-of-pocket costs to help bear the cost of coverage for qualifying members

Total Current Charges - All combined charges for this billing period
New Balance - The total amount left over after adding Total Past Due to Total Current Charges
